‍‍‍‍Chen Furong, graduated from Shanghai Institute of Visual Art, was a student of the renowned artist Ding Yi. In 2014, Chen came back to Xiamen and founded the brand WUU which is dedicated to expressing contemporary situations through designs. He has won many prizes both at home and abroad, such as the Architectural Digest top emerging Chinese talents of the year, the future award of IDEAT FUTURE AWARD, and the MAISON&OBJET rising talent award.

Chen’s works are characterized by his deep-rooted respect and unique understanding towards and of the nature of designs, architecture and materials that are demonstrated through the poetic but practical lines and shapes crafted by a dynamic minimalism that is born of a profound appreciation of diverse cultures and a respect of traditions.‍‍‍‍
